Teams

Teams let more than one person work in the same DotDeployer account, each with their own sign-in and a role that controls what they can do.

Steps:

  1. Go to Team.
  2. Use the invite form at the top to invite someone by email.
  3. Once they accept, they appear in the members table below, with their role shown as a select you can change at any time.

Roles: owner, admin, member, picked from the select in the members table. Admins and members are invited by the owner or another admin.

Accepting an invite: an invited teammate signs in the same way as anyone else — Google, GitHub or email — and lands on the team-accept screen to join the account.

Plan requirement: teams are a Team-plan feature. On Solo or Pro, the Team nav item shows a “Team plan” badge and routes to billing to upgrade; the page itself is already gated so an account below Team plan can’t add members even by URL.

Owner-only settings: a few things stay owner-only regardless of role — the Developer settings page and notification templates, both under Settings.
